How can I read kindle books on my computer?

Kindle for PC is an application that let you read Kindle books on your Windows personal computer. It's a free download from Amazon.com, and it works with Kindles, Kindle Fires and Kindle apps. The software is available for Windows XP and later versions of Windows.

Step 1: Download the Kindle for PC application from the Amazon website at www.amazon.com/kindleforpc/. You will be asked to log in with your Amazon account information (if you already have one) or create a new account if you do not already have one. After logging in, click "Download Now" to start downloading the application to your computer.

Step 2: Run the downloaded file once it has been downloaded onto your computer by double-clicking on it or by right-clicking and choosing "Run as Administrator." This will open a window where you can choose whether you want to install the application on your C: drive or another location on your computer (such as D:). Click "Next" when ready and then wait for the installation process to complete before clicking "Finish."
